Barks and Meows Petsitting and Rescue

BARKS AND MEOWS PETSITTING
Our goal is to provide in home pet care to ensure your pets are kept comfortable and happy.

It is very common for pets to be kenneled or crated when pet owners are away. When absence occurs for long periods of time, this could cause stress on the pet and bring about undo pain and emotional suffering. Barks and Meows believe that every pet needs company. Ensuring that the pet's routine in their home continues is key in decreasing the issues that surround your absence. Barks and Meows can assist you in developing a home care pet plan that matches your current routine. Whether it is walking your pet at a certain time, providing food and water at scheduled intervals or just providing nurturing and companionship on a daily basis, we can meet those requests and more. Barks and Meows can also make visits while you are away at work, to alleviate separation anxiety and help with exercising your pet. We also have some boarding spaces available in our home. This type of boarding is great for pets that just don't want to be alone at all. They will enjoy the company of our 6 dogs and 8 cats rest assured! This service is available to indoor dogs and cats only, and allows for those pets that are truly socialized. We ask for a visit beforehand to ensure all are comfortable with the setup and even offer a free play day so everyone can get to know each other better. Veterinarian food is included in the cost of our boarding. Space is limited so booking is required well in advance of your trip.

BARKS AND MEOWS RESCUE
Barks and Meows Rescue is a non-profit rescue group. All of our rescues are rescued from situations whereby they no longer would have had a chance to survive. Our goal is to find wonderful "forever homes" for those adoring canines and felines who deserve a second chance in life. We are committed to adopting these companions out to homes where they are indoors, treated as family members and are continued to be well socialized and provided with both premium nutrition and health care.

Along with having fosters that have had the best nutrition while in our care, we promise to socialize our animals as much as possible. We will have them interacting with all members of the home including the cats, dogs, children and both human males and females. If we do not have all these factors in our home we will take them to places where they can interact so that we may advise the adopters honestly how truly social they are.

Our fosters, will come from many sources, they may be surrenders, they may be from local shelters, they may be from other rescues that require our assistance. It matters not to us as to the source, just that the animals we take in  are kind and wanting only another chance to show how truly loving they really are!

Finally our commtiment to our new adopters will be full disclosure of how they came to be in our home, our experience with them during foster care and documentation from our Veterinarians on the status of their health. We hope that you will be pleased with our dedication to having well rounded fosters in our system. The team of foster homes is key to making this happen, and we couldn't do it with out them. If you wish to apply to become a foster parent for Barks and Meows, please e-mail us for an application and we shall be very happy to send one on to you.
